The Samurai Center for Human Rights & Holocaust Studies

Here are some of the projects the Samurai Center will be working on:

 

i] Assembling a Think Tank of world-renowned experts to explore the best ways to combat Jew-hatred which is escalating all over the world -- especially in Europe and North America.

 

ii] Organizing conferences and events to assist victims of other genocides as well such as the Kashmiri Pandits and Rawandan refugees and exploring ways citizens can get involved. 

 

iii] Making presentations on the Holocaust and the lessons we can all learn from it -- from the non-Jewish and humanitarian perspective.

 

iv] Financing Sempo Sugihara scholarships for victims of the Rwanda Genocide, the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits and other such global tragedies.

 

v] Inviting eminent thinkers to write essays and do video interviews to combat hate and bigotry against Jews from their own non-Jewish perspective.

 

vi] Promoting the legacy of Sempo Sugihara so that he becomes a household name like Oscar Schindler, Mahatma Gandhi,

Nelson Mandela and other respected leaders of humanity. 

 

vii] Fostering India-Israel relations by honoring the memory of the Nalanda genocide -- the worst genocide in world history and building bridges between the Indians who suffered immeasurably at the time and Jewish people who suffer greatly in this day and age. 

 

 

viii] Focusing on areas of cooperation between India and Japan for India is the only nation that never engaged in Anti-Semitism and Japan is India's closest ally and the country of Sempo Sugihara.

 

ix] Producing films, videos and art exhibits to honor the Samurai Code of Honor in memory of Sempo Sugihara Chiune.

 

 

x] Preserving the great Samurai tradition of Bushido and the Japanese Buddhist culture of Kamakura -- the final resting place of Sempo-san.
